Easy Butterfly Holding Chamber

Ever need a quick place to put a butterfly or insect you've met in the garden? Here's a very simple, effective and cheap way to temporarily house your new critter.

PLASTIC CONTAINER
Chinese food quart-size take-out containers make the perfect butterfly holding chamber! Remove the lid and cut a whole through the middle, leaving approximately 1cm from the edge.

NETTING
Grab a piece of netting or tulle and cut a small square to fit over the opening of the container.

Place the pre-cut lid over the netting to close the container and now you have the perfect way to safely house your new friend!
