North Wildwood, NJ
June 28, 1998

On Sunday, June 28, we took a drive to visit the lighthouse on the north tip of North Wildwood, New Jersey. It was overflowing with flowers, secret gardens, and interesting butterflies.

Here, Jack Mikula is trying to show the beauty of butterflies in their natural habitat.

This lovely landscape is very inspiring to butterfly gardeners of all ages. It's really a great place to begin if you're thinking of building your own.

Wow! The variety of colors of flowers is such an eye-catcher. It is truly amazing what a well-planned garden can do for your spirituality. One can spend countless hours on the benches in these gardens.

These hydrangeas are spectacular. They make such a wonderful addition to any garden. Seen here in pink, their color ranges from red to purple to blue, yet they are all vibrant in all aspects.

In the midst of these beautiful flowers stands the prominent N.Wildwood lighthouse. It is pleasing to the eye and not at all overbearing to the grounds it is overlooking.

Micki Mikula and her son, Neil Weininger, take some time from the overwhelming flora to smile for the camera. You can really get lost in the gardens as well as appreciate the detailed beauty of this landmark. Thank you for joining our tour!
