First-time participants:
Our conferencing system requires you to create your own login
(user) name and password. Upon entering you will be prompted for
them, then you will be greeted with a short new user information
form. On your return trips to our conferencing system you will be
able to use your account here again.
If you are denied access, chances are someone is already using
the login name you have chosen, in which case select a different
login name and try again. You will want to change the name on the
second line of the new user form, as this is your name displayed
with any postings you make.
Notes:
- Your login name should be different from your real name, which
is how you are identified to other WebBoard participants. Your
login name is used only by the conferencing system to identify
you when logging in. It is never seen by other users.
- You may also log in as guest with password guest. Guest logins,
unlike others, cannot post messages or edit their personal profile.
- If you happen to know a little HTML, you will be happy to know
that messages composed in our conferences accept HTML tags. This
means that you can apply links to pages, graphics and images which
you might want to add to spice up your message.
